Good Afternoon to Our PNPS Community
As many of you may be aware, our school hall was severely damaged due to strong wind gusts last night. The blue sunshade in our picnic area (located on Harold St side) was destroyed.
Emergency Services Crew and Assets Management from the Department of Education have been there today assessing the situation, removing branches and debris, as well as securing the site with fencing to ensure there is no access to the school hall. All the rooms have been checked. This will be done again tomorrow.
I am liaising with Endeavour Energy. According to the most recent update, they hope to restore power later this evening.
Providing we have power, the assessment conducted on site today confirmed our teaching and learning programs will continue in all classrooms on Monday.
I will provide you with an update as soon as I am able.
